Self-managed social center in Syntagma. The Transnational Institute of Social Ecology (TRISE) is a transnational network of activists, scholars and researchers founded in Greece in 2013. TRISE sees itself as part of the communalist tradition and aims to propagate the ideas of social ecology and radical democracy. We seek to be a pan-European resource to all those concerned with these ideas. To this end, we consider democracy, ecology, feminism, ‘the Right to the City” and struggles against oppression as fundamental transforming goals. Our activities are focused on research, education and training.
