Zdena is a communal space located in Holešovice. It is run by a collective, that tries to find an alternative to the commercial spaces and clubs. Our primary goal is not to generate profit, but to cooperate on creating of social/cultural space, that anybody can engage in, no matter their background. We organise concerts, workshops, lectures etc. We support grass-root activities, provide space to activist movements that focus on such topics as: action against climate change, right to the city, feminism, anti-fascism, support to LGBTQ+ community and the like.

In Zdena there is zero tolerance for sexism, racism, and other forms of oppression. We welcome parents and children, setting a baby corner is in progress. The space is not barrier free so far (stairs), if needed, we will gladly give help when entering/exiting. There is a voluntary donation for all events. If we prepare some snacks for an event, it is vegan or freegan.

We operate on non-hierarchical, voluntary and independent basis.
