A.casă is an anarchist social centre in Cluj. It is autonomously managed and operates according to anti-capitalist and anti-authoritarian principles. The space is shared, used by various groups and initiatives that share the same principles and values and that through non-hierarchical organization and direct action fight for a radical change in society.

At A.casă there are organizing meetings, but also public events that foster discussion on political issues from an anarchist perspective, free exchange of ideas and skills, socialization and solidarity with other anarchist struggles and movements.

The A.casă collective maintains the space and makes it available to other groups, but it is supported by donations and voluntary activities of all the people who spend time here.

We have a nice and cosy library with over 700 books and thousands of zines on direct action, feminism, punk and DIY, ecology, history and radical theory, anti-repression, social movements, political arts, etc. We have a bikekitchen and a freeshop where we can freely exchange things and skills, and DIY materials to make your own stencils, banners, patches, etc.

We can host comrades who need accommodation for a few days in Cluj – please contact us in advance. We can support other groups fighting for social change with the necessary infrastructure to organize events (camps, international forums, trainings, meetings):

We want A.casă to be a safer space for all people, so we do not tolerate sexist, racist, classist, queerphobic, transphobic, ableist, sanist, speciesist, or other forms of discrimination, oppression or violence. We are working on making the space more accessible, and we welcome suggestions.

Organise an event at A.casă


The space is open to groups or individuals who want to organise a discussion, presentation, workshop, meeting or any other type of event that follows the principles according to which the space operates. If you would like to organise an event here, contact us in advance to work out the communication and technical details. If necessary, we can provide simultaneous interpretation equipment for events with speakers of more than one language.
