On occupied Miwok, Nisenan, and Yokut territory, we invite you to join us in so-called Sacramento on Sunday, November 5th, 2023, for the 1st annual Sacramento Anarchist Bookfair. The event will feature tabling by publishers, projects, organizations, and distros along with workshops and speakers. From Indigenous revolts against colonization and genocide, mass strikes by farm workers in the fields, to recent struggles against police brutality and the rise of the far-Right, the Central Valley has long been a site of fierce resistance to capitalism and the State. We hope this event represents an opportunity for existing anarchist and autonomous anti-colonial, anti-capitalist, and anti-fascist projects to come together, share space, and build connections. We also want to create a place for those curious about autonomous projects and anarchist ideas to find a way to plug in and make new connections, while creating moments of joy and solidarity in a time of deepening crisis.
