The occupation of the former Chiffo building, route de Trouville in Caen, was made public on Saturday, November 2, 2024. Evicted residents of squat 15 rond-point de l'Orne, their supporters and the General Assembly Against All Evictions have been occupying this new 1,600 m² squat since Thursday. This week took place successively the occupation of the shopping centre on the banks of the Orne, the premises of Inolya, the municipal library and a day care centre. Two wild demonstrations in the city centre also took place with the distribution of leaflets, not to mention a few mishaps for the social landlord Inolya.
