TAKLAND is a squat for living and where people organize social and political events. The squat was revealed during a puppetshow on the former King's Day, which in TAKLAND is now known as Woningsdag. We declared ourselves independent from the Dutch state and monarchy. Here in TAKLAND squatting is encouraged, houses are for living, everyone and nobody is mayor & everything is free. Takland 8 has been evicted and we moved to Takland 6! End of September we expanded with another building on Rokin 108, also known as the timetravellers hotel.
