PUF is an autonomous, community ran, non-profit festival. The aim is to bring the community together for a weekend of educational discussions and workshops coupled with 3 nights of amazing performances, art and music spanning a range of genre's. The money raised over the weekend goes to help local grass roots organisations and direct action groups, as well as helping to keep great musicians and performers on the road.
We do not receive funding from any outside institution, nor do we support manchester city council or the state.

Everyone involved shares common ideals: to give unused space back to the community to create, connect and perform autonomously and independent from the current system. Also, people treat each other with respect regardless of someone's background, sexual orientation, religion or gender.
Oppressive, rascist, sexist and transphobic behavior is not welcome at this festival, nor is violent behavior.
Clear consent and transformative justice are central to creating a space that is accessible and inclusive for all.

If you notice a situation involving discrimination and/or harassment, act on your own initiative - the responsibility for a respectful cooperation between all of us has to be taken from everybody.
Should you feel unable to deal with a situation by yourself, we encourage you to bring it to the attention of a PUF volunteer and they will assist you.

We are in no way associated with the environmental activist group extinction rebellion.
