Gumi Sasak is our attempt at bringing squatting back to Delft! The neighbours are sympathetic to our cause because we all hate the same landlord.

We want to create a space where everyone can feel safe, no matter the colour of their skin, sexual orientation, gender, class, or any such characteristic.

The vegan place is used as a community space, and for now, is mainly visited by activists involved with climate and Palestine struggles in Delft. We use Gumi Sasak as a base for organising, having meetings, and as a place to host events. These events include weekly movie nights, radical evening schools, and communal reading sessions. There are also sleeping places available.

Gumi Sasak has been squatted since the end of September 2024.
