Here we are: Joke Kaviaar and Peter Storm. Together, we form Your Local Pirates: a couple of singing rebel-rousers.

Your Local Pirates sing and play acoustic songs with guitar and voice, sometimes more. You can find us at demonstrations, at squatting events and alternative festivals. Wherever we are invited, we make the atmosphere even more rebellious than the mood already is.

Most of our songs are written by either one or both of Your Local Pirates. Sometimes, however, we sing revolutionary songs from elsewhere, usually translated by Joke into Dutch.
