Monday 30 September 2024, Benefit dinner supporting the Iku community in Colombia in reclaiming their ancestral land, by SKRAPS solidarity kitchen.

We are SKRAPS (Soup Kitchen for Radical Actions and Political Solidarity), an Amsterdam-based cooking collective with the goal of transforming rescued food into tasty vegan dishes, which are then used to support national and internation initiatives.

This Voku is dedicated to the Iku people, an indigenous community from Colombia currently striving to acquire ancestral land. Their goal is to reclaim their territory, and build a space to educate young students and nurture future mamos and sagas (spiritual leaders). By doing so, they aim to preserve their ancestral wisdom and actively deconstruct colonial heritage. 

In this Voku, we hope to support them in reclaiming their land, and we invite you to join us in this endeavour.

Food served from 7pm, no reservation.

After the dinner there will be a concert by the band Catsnout!!
