Lives of Performers is Yvonne Rainer's first feature film.  Rainer is a dancer, choreographer and filmmaker who emerged in the 1960s as an experimental feminist artist. Lives of performers is a study about romantic love, about the choice a man has to make between two women and the suffering of them all. This film is a remake of a dance performance choreographed by Yvonne Rainer.
