Turbo Island is up for sale – ideally we can get it into community ownership in some form. This open meeting aims to “pool our knowledge, create a fundraising strategy, and share our collective vision for a future Turbo Island”, and gathers together many of those who’ve already started fundraising, representatives from PRSC and Stokes Croft Land Trust, and anyone else with big ideas and a willingness to get stuck in.
Our venue only holds so many – we’ll be issuing regular updates as this all evolves so if you’re coming along just to find out what’s going on, maybe wait for news instead.
