Welcome to bring candles and pay our respects for the person killed by Securitas guards at Iso Omena

Yesterday evening around 5pm at Espoo’s Iso Omena mall a woman being arrested went lifeless after four guards pressed her to the ground, according to eyewitnesses for dozens of minutes. Despite lengthy CPR started by bystanders the victim was pronounced dead by paramedics on the scene. Police has declined to comment whether the guards involved have been detained or not.

We will meet at Makamik today starting at 5pm, and we’ll depart for Matinkylä at 6pm. We have soup for the hungry and candles for everyone at the house, but you can of course bring your own if you like. We will hold a short moment of silence at Iso Omena for the victim’s memory.
