Electric neo folk artist/electric violinist, Sophie Kinston, is set for a 4th European return, and this time, with her brand new 2nd album, 'Wide Awake I See The Storm'.  Based in Melbourne, Australia, Tailor Birds is fast becoming known as an international touring act, alternative, but on the edge of mainstream, with no 2 shows the same.  Forming a rich tapestry of soundscapes and emotive stories, the combination of live looping, foley art, harmonized vocals, and rich strings, audiences can't help but fall into the sound and dream.

With numerous festivals to her name in both, Europe and Australia, this is music that warms the soul, soothes the mind, and ignites the spirit.  Originally from London, but currently based in Melbourne, Australia, Sophie is thrilled to be return to the Dokhuis this summer, in support of the launch of the new album, and for what is likely to be one of the last shows of the tour.  Come see electric violin at its' finest, the artistry that is the Tailor Birds in all its’ glory, and pick up a copy of the new album even!!
