David Guerreiro SL is an innovative jazz quartet led by bassist and composer David Guerreiro. The band’s music is a reflection of everyday life, with each composition inspired by personal experiences and emotions. David’s original work is known for its rich melodies, intricate harmonies, and deep emotional resonance, capturing the essence of the human experience through sound.

Influenced by jazz legends Kurt Rosenwinkel and Bill Frisell, the band’s style blends modern jazz with ambient textures, folk undertones, and lyrical improvisation. This fusion of genres creates a sound that is both contemporary and timeless, inviting listeners into a rich, atmospheric world of music.

The quartet consists of David Guerreiro on double bass, David Saruchanov on piano, Rafa Motila on drums, and Giovani Gentile on guitar. Together, they form a cohesive and dynamic unit, with each musician bringing their own unique voice to the ensemble. The interaction between the instruments allows for both intimate, nuanced moments and expansive, explorative soundscapes, making their live performances captivating and immersive.
