💲 We want the festival with a message of solidarity to be as accessible as possible to as many people as possible, regardless of their financial situation. ❗ In the current situation, there is no other way than to help the ordinary people in Gaza who are suffering and dying in the fight between Hamas and the Israeli army. Half of the proceeds from the entire festival will go to humanitarian aid in Gaza for Doctors Without Borders.
❗ It is necessary to condemn the disgusting attack by Hamas on 7.10. 2023 and at the same time clearly condemn the many years of systematic oppression of Palestinians by the Israeli government! It is necessary to talk about inequality, suffering and unnecessary sacrifices in Palestine! It is necessary to stop the killing of civilians in Gaza immediately!
❗ We stand clearly against anti-Semitism, against Zionism, against colonialism and always on the side of the oppressed, on the side of the victims of Hamas, on the side of the victims of the Israeli army.
❗ Riot Over River is a festival clearly aimed against racism, fascism and other forms of oppression and chauvinism. Criticism of the State of Israel and Zionism is not anti-Semitism. If someone uses the situation for anti-Jewish insinuations, they are definitely not welcome at our event. And vice versa - the event is open to everyone who wants to support the Palestinian people in their struggle for freedom.

❗ For self-organization and preparation of such events, it is necessary to have a proper background and base... During 2024, Prague will get something that has been dreamed of for decades - a new autonomous space in "our" ownership, which will provide a long-term background for a whole range of activities, dreams and ideas. The legacy of the infocenters Salé and Zdena resonates strongly among people, as do memories of the squats Milada, Cibulka, Šatovka and Ladronka. The other half of the earnings will be used to start the space. The Shared Spaces lecture will provide more information.
