Fundraiser aiming to spread awareness and raise funds for CALM and Papyrus. The event will feature music from Mercury Calculus, Shlug and Em Koko. The gig will be in memory of our friend and Moon regular Rhion Butcher.

MERCURY CALCULUS: Blending elements of New Age, Ambient, Americana and Country through weaving droning synthesisers, acoustic guitars, distant percussion and pedal steel. "Droning ambient-gone-country instrumentals. Field recordings, plausibly from an airport as per the title, bleed into inscrutably incidental jazz-ish moments, equal parts Dylan Carlson and James Ferraro" - Buzz Mag. SHLUG: 3-piece meat grinder, lugging noise between the teeth of gears to create an electric stampede. Bandcamp, Spotify, YouTube

EM KOKO: There’s an ominous nostalgia lurking in the liminal spaces of the internet. The innate penchant for fear makes the dream-like ‘backrooms’ so appealing to em koko, heard in ghastly echoes of em koko’s musical style. Having previous played bass for celebrated musician Alice Low, as well as currently playing synth for Minas, Emily is now pursuing her own musical endeavours. Her debut release “Take me as I am” is the product of heightened feeling. The synergy of modern shoegaze and industrial dream pop contorted by a dissociative melancholy makes for a post-genre experience for the listener. website, YouTube
