On the first Friday of every month Haarlem’s original and best alternative comedy night in English will return. EVERY edition will feature a big name from the international comedy scene as headliner.  

Our first very special headliner will be Mexico’s funniest daughter: Lara Ricote.

Lara has been smashing it all over the place from Comedy Central to Edinburgh Fringe and has won countless awards for her zany and hilarious take on life including the Funny Women award for best act.   

Lara is an inspiration as she is hearing-impaired: deaf in old money yet this has not stopped her from achieving her goals.   The Raecks Hotel people have also helped many refugees from Ukraine so this evening does have a a clear social cultural resonance.

There will be some great new locally sourced acts to warm you up and each edition will have a seasoned compere to get things going but Comedy Ballroom will always feature a very special guest, flown in specially, to close the show in style. The kind of acts you will only get to see once every now and again. The list of acts booked is impressive.
