BRING CASH FOR DONATIONS!
Nae Pasaran is a 2018 documentary directed by Felipe Bustos Sierra about a group of workers at a Rolls-Royce factory in East Kilbride, Scotland, who refused to work on Chilean Air Force parts from 1974-78 due to the atrocities carried out in Chile by the Pinochet dictatorship.
This multi award winning documentary chronicles workers struggles as part of an international campaign against dictatorship and highlights the complicity of neolibsral regimes in the arms trade at a pivotal time in history. It's bitter sweet ending shows that acts of resistance continue to resonate even against seemingly insurmountable odds.
On International Migrants Day, 18 December, ten persons were arrested at the gates of the Border Security Training Centre, a Frontex training location at the military police base at Schiphol. As part of an international 'Abolish Frontex' action day Stop the War on Migrants blocked this police base to protest its involvement in the deadly European border regime. Frontex is responsible for violent border security and pushbacks at the EU borders, resulting in death and misery for refugees.
The ten arrested people are confronted with legal costs (lawyer and possible fines) and need our support!
We are also running a crowd funding campaign.
