Very atmospheric cult horror ghost film with a shocking twist about a woman who wakes up after a car accident in a strange fair full of mysterious people. Do not expect bloody scenes, but rather inexplicable moments of tension and disaster. Released unnoticed as part of a double-bill in the 1960s, the film now appears to have been extremely influential (as on the work of director David Lynch) and is slowly gaining fame. The film feels surprisingly current and vibrant despite being made over fifty years ago.
