Little Too Much - A Stand-Up Comedy Solo Show by Anshita Koul
Little Too Much is an English comedy solo WIP by comedian Anshita Koul. The show takes you on a roller coaster ride that is Anshita's life, engaging the audience with stories about why she switched careers from software engineer to hardware comedian, why she thinks marriage is a pyramid scheme, why she misses her catcallers back home and why she thinks childhood is not the best part of life, amongst other topics trivial and political. 35, Indian, queer, married, does not want a child and is a standup comedian by profession– Anshita is a poster child for everything the Patriarchy hates, but don't worry she hates it back way more. After dazzling the Vondelbunker with the Brothelhood Collective in June, Anshita returns to Amsterdam for her Solo Show. About Anshita -
Anshita made her debut in the standup world from the Indian reality TV show Queens of Comedy, which was also available on Netflix from 2017-2019 and was later taken down for which she is eternally grateful because no comedian wants their first time on stage aired on Netflix. She is the co-creator of Clit Comedy Club and one of the founders and organisers of Festrogen, the first ever women-centric comedy festival in Luxembourg. EMCEE: Mikeala Burch Opening Act: Mona Joshi The event is donation-based, so make sure to bring cash! As the temperature has been dropping, the Vondelbunker can be a bit chilly, so dress appropriately. Doors open at 20:00, performances start at 20:30 and will go on until 22:00. Feel free to stick around for a chat and to relax in the Vondelbunker for a little while after the show.
