On November 30th, we invite you to MKZ to support two Russian anarchists currently in prison.

19-year-old Alexander Snezhkov and 16-year-old Lyubov Lizunova were sentenced by military court to six years and three and a half years in prison, respectively. Snezhkov was found guilty under charges of politically motivated vandalism for graffiti reading "Death to the regime." Both were convicted on charges related to calls for extremism and terrorism. They were detained in the autumn of 2022 in Chita, suspected of creating graffiti and managing telegram channels that shared information about anti-war protests in Russia, partisan actions, and animal rights.

Come and enjoy our vegan borscht and other dishes. All the benefits will go to Alexander and Lyubov’s families to help cover their costs of the prisoners support, including arranging parcels for them and lawyers’ fees.

You’ll also have the opportunity to sign cards and letters for them to show your solidarity.

In ‘Miltvuur Keuken Zuid’ worden gezonde veganistische driegangen-maaltijden geserveerd voor een uitermate vriendelijke prijs. Men eet wat de pot schaft: er is een voorgerecht, een hoofdgerecht en een nagerecht. Eventuele winst van de MKZ gaat naar goede doelen. Deze doelen worden uitgekozen door de vrijwilligers die de zaak draaiend houden. Misschien wil je ook eens komen koken of de bar doen?

In MKZ we serve healthy vegan three-course meals, for a very friendly price. There is no menu, what you eat is what you get. We serve a starter, a main and a dessert. All profit made is donated towards grassroot projects, all over the world. The projects get chosen by the volunteers that run the place. 

The doors open at 19.00 and we serve food until 21.00.
