The Short Films of Paul Nouhet + Q&A

An evening with films by French director Paul Nouhet, coming to Paris to join us for a Q&A. Born and raised in Bordeaux, Nouhet's filmmaking adventures weave together the past, present, and future in an exploration of identity and nostalgia. Paul Nouhet's journey began in his hometown, where he honed his skills by making skate videos with friends. After furthering his education in cinema in Brussels, he joined the editing department at La Fémis in 2016. Alongside his editing practice, Paul directs films where he and his friends invent and embody different characters. His latest project, "Salut Les Zins!", chronicles his adolescence, delving into the complexities of a rather estranged group of old friends, trying to find each other or themselves again on a long summer night.
