A departure from our usual documentary format, Cannes Jury Prize winner Bacurau is a genre-bending Brazilian film with elements of Westerns, surrealism and sci-fi. 

Set in a remote village, it follows the mysterious disappearance of Bacurau from maps after the death of its matriarch. Things get even more strange as the residents face a sinister threat.
