Frastuono Festival: Psyché + Laura Agnusdei + Marco Parente
Short url:
First edition of Frastuono: a festival bringing Italy's underground and experimental music to Amsterdam, shattering clichés about Italian music with bold, boundary-pushing sounds.
Psyché:
This project blends minimal, groove-driven music with psychedelic elements, improvisation, and ancient musical traditions. Key figures in the Neapolitan music scene for over two decades, the members of Psyché played a significant role in the early wave of the Nuova Napoli movement, known as Neapolitan Power. Notably, they also form the rhythm section for Nu Genea, a Naples-based band that has recently gained international acclaim, performing globally at major festivals such as Down the Rabbit Hole in the Netherlands.

She will present her upcoming album, Flowers Are Blooming in Antarctica, set for release by Maple Death Records in January 2025. Her new trio features Edoardo Grisogani, a psychedelic drummer from the band Tetuan, and Jacopo Buda, a prominent figure in the underground ambient scene, performing on trumpet and percussion.. Together, they explore deeply evocative electroacoustic compositions, merging acoustic, digital, and analog sources to craft immersive soundscapes. Laura has previously performed at renowned events such as Rewire and the EYE Museum in the Netherlands.
