This show connects the autobiogaphical story with the traditional to bring forth that which is political, personal and timeless.
The violin and loop station weave together the dreamscape of a traditional Irish story to Alanis Moresette, VW buses, roller skates and a queer coming of age story with two friends in search of magic.

From fairy gateways to raven wisdom, these stories move through the cobblestone streets of 80’s Berlin to the moss-covered branches of the PacificNorthwest.
As the tallest trees on earth hold each other steady underneath the ground, how does one find roots while being split between cultures, parents and continents?

In this show Katinka Kraft fuses poetic awareness of image, rhythm and sound with the connective quality and immediacy of oral storytelling.

Johanna Wollin verwebt ihre Suche nach Identität mit traditionellen Geschichten und nimmt uns auf eine Reise zwischen Lateinamerika und Europa, zwischen Kirschen und Eukalyptus, Jasmin und Johannisbeeren, Anden und Alpen, zwischen Heimat und Fremde.
