Since 8th January Dimitris has been on hunger strike to claim his rights. The "democratic" and "european" greek state has decided to let him die. We want to express our rage and support his hunger strike!

The Greek state is playing with fire without considering how hot it will get if this whole story has an unpleasant ending.
Dimitris Koufontinas, detained in Greek prisons since 2002, a member of the revolutionary organisation '17 November', has passed the 40th day of his hunger strike to demand, at the bare minimum, regularity in
the application of the Greek government's new detention measures.
He demands that the treatment - scientifically designed and intended for him by law - be at least respected.
Today he is in hospital under guard in the intensive care unit.
His life is in real danger. But he does not give in to blackmail.
Dimitris is a comrade who has never backed down.
Throughout his life he has led a relentless struggle against capitalist brutality.
His gesture, this hunger strike, is an explicit NO to the abuses of today, and those of tomorrow.
Towards himself, as towards the entire detained body.
The immovable attitude of the Greek state in the face of this legitimate request has the taste of revenge. And the characteristic of arrogance, of thinking it can act savagery undisturbed.
This is not the case.
And it will not be so in the future.
It all adds up.
As for us, we cannot stand by silently while this tragedy unfolds.
