Initially, the gaztetxe of Saint-Jean-de-Luz was located in the center of the town, but we were sent to the Akotz district in 1991, to a former school. Since then, we have organized various activities for young people in Saint-Jean-de-Luz and Ciboure: concerts, theater, music and verse workshops. All this with an excuse: that the building does not respect the rules.
We officially have a classic office, but all members are involved in the same way. We meet weekly. We have an agreement with the council and we don’t pay anything in exchange for the building, but we have decided not to ask for financial support so as not to lose autonomy.
