Bettina Röhl and Mei Shigenobu, daughters of Ulrike Meinhof and Fusako Shigenobu, reflect on their mothers' lives and involvement in the Red Army Faction and the Japanese Red Army, two of the left-wing guerilla groups which emerged in the 1970s.

The film includes rare archive footage from West Germany, Japan and the Middle East, including student protests and training camps.

An informal discussion will follow after the screening, as usual.
