After 18 years, the collective "Autonomous Steki" – which had the political responsibility of the homonymous space – decided to dissolve itself. People and collectives that over the years have developed political and comradely relations within the area of Autonomous Steki are in the phase of creating a new project that will constitute a public movement space.

The new project for this public movement space is called "Autonomous Steki Perasma" and consists of people, political/social collectives and structures, which already existed and were active in recent years in the area of the Autonomous Steki. More specifically, this initiative belongs to individuals, political/social collectives and a labor union (SKYA, Φέμιν@tre, SVEMKO) who were as roommates in the area of the old Autonomous Steki, as well as to structures that were formed and operate within the specific space (Locker, Wednesday Collective Kitchen, Bookstore, Library/Self-Education Group).
