NieuwLand is a fully volunteer-run community centre in Dapperbuurt, Amsterdam Oost. It is also a space for living and working, based on the principles of solidarity, DIY (zelfwerkzaamheid) and sustainability.

The NieuwLand collective organises a monthly program with workshops, live music, reading groups, discussion nights, dance and yoga classes, choir repetitions and other social, cultural and political events for the neighborhood and beyond. NieuwLand is wheelchair accessible but our toilets are not!! The nearest public spaces with wheelchair accessible toilets are Tropenmuseum (open Tuesday-Saturday 10-17H) and hotel The Manor (open 24/7).
