Need for donations – clothes for people at EU external borders
We are collecting donations for People on the Move in Bosnia-Herzegovina (Compass 071 Sarajevo) and for people at EU external border between Poland and Belarus. Kompas 071 (Compass 071) is a local non-profit organization from Sarajevo, Bosnia, and Herzegovina, running a community center for people on the move (PoM) residing or transiting the Canton Sarajevo area. The center opened at the end of November 2020, offering showers, laundry service, NFI, food, and legal aid, and has assisted thousands of people in the past year. In the summer of 2021, the center went through reconstruction adding additional 120m2 of new space for a free NFI shop, a new shower, and a new heating system. The daily capacity of the center is app. 100 people and the average number of PoM that come to the center per week is between 200-400 people depending on the season. In January 2022, Kompas opened community center in city of Bihac (Bosnian-Croatian border) that offers PoM the same services as the one in Sarajevo. As organization and individuals, we stand for values and principles of equality, social justice, freedom, anti-fascism, anti-racism, and solidarity across nations and all borders.

We are looking for:
