At this Sunday's discussion, we would like to look closer into the feminist issues in healthcare.

We'll look at how healthcare fails to include everyone's experiences, along with how women's issues aren't getting their fair share of attention in medical research. On top of that, we'll discuss the lack of adequacy and timely diagnosis for women, as well as the widely under-recognized issue of period poverty.

NieuwLand is wheelchair accessible but the toilets are not. The nearest public spaces with larger toilets are Wereld Museum Amsterdam (open Tuesday-Saturday 10-17) and hotel The Manor (open 24/7). If you have any other specific needs in order to be able to join this meeting, please let us know and we can discuss what is possible.
