Gisi bleibt! Kein Profit mit Wohnraum!
Kommt alle zur Demo am 20.12.2025 14:00 Hauptbahnhof Winterthur

Wie ihr vielleicht schon mitbekommen habt, will die Stefanini-Stiftung für Kunst, Kultur und Geschichte SKKG die Gisi (General-Guisan-Str. 31, Winterthur), das vermutlich ältestes besetzte Wohn- und Kulturhaus der Schweiz, im Februar 2026 räumen lassen.

Alle Verhandlungsversuche, das Haus dauerhaft selbstverwaltet und unkommerziell weiter zu bewohnen und zu beleben, sind am Unwillen der Stiftung gescheitert. 

Ausgerechnet die SKKG, die sich Kunst, Kultur und Geschichte auf die Fahne schreibt, will genau dies zerstören:

Denn in der Gisi haben in den letzten 28 Jahren unzählige Künstler*innen mit Konzerten, Workshops und Veranstaltungen für eine künstlerische Vielfalt gesorgt.
Über die Jahrzente haben auch sehr viele Leute in der Gisi gewohnt oder konnten vorübergehend unterkommen. Die Gisi bedeutet günstigen kollektiven Wohnraum für viele, die wenig haben.

Es entstand eine Kultur mit einem kritischen Umgang gegenüber unterdrückerischen Mechanismen, Profitlogik und gesellschaftlichen Zwängen. 

Damit schreiben wir nicht nur 28 Jahre Geschichte, sondern reihen uns ein in alle linken, emanzipatorischen Kämpfe der Vergangenheit und Zukunft.

Offensichtlich verfolgt die SKKG also ein anderes Ziel. Sie möchte aus Ihren schweizweit 2200 Wohnungen noch mehr Profit erwirtschaften. Deshalb wollen sie jetzt auch aus der Gisi für 5 Millionen Franken einen schicken, profitablen Yuppietempel machen. 

Und die Stadt freuts: Denn die städtische Wohnpolitik ist ausschliesslich auf die Interessen der Reichen ausgerichtet, es herrscht Aufwertungswahn. Egal, ob in Töss, Hegi oder am Schützenweiher, überall sollen die Armen Platz machen (für Luxuswohnungen und Yuppie-Freiräume).

Doch wir werden die angedrohte Räumung der Gisi nicht einfach so hinnehmen. Machen wir der SKKG und der Stadt deutlich, dass wir die Gisi verteidigen. Denn die Gisi zu räumen, ist ein Angriff auf uns alle. Auf uns, die immer einen grösseren Teil unseres Lohns für die Miete ausgeben müssen. Auf uns, die keine zahlbaren Wohnungen mehr finden können.

Die Zerstörung von besetztem Wohn- und Kulturraum betrifft aber nicht nur die Bewohner:innen, sondern die ganze Stadt. Sind die selbstverwalteten Häuser einmal weg, steigen ringsherum die Mieten und die Vertreibung trifft die Nächsten.

Unser Kampf endet nicht mit der Gisi oder den anderen räumungsbedrohten Häuser und Wagenplätze. Er geht über jedes einzelne Haus hinaus. Wir kämpfen gegen die kapitalistische Stadtaufwertung, gegen die skrupellose Bereicherung einiger weniger auf Kosten jener, die sowieso wenig haben und sich die immer höheren Mieten nicht leisten können.

Gegen die Räumung der Gisi und den Erhalt von günstigem Wohnraum überall rufen wir euch alle auf, am Sa. 20.12.2025 um 14:00 Uhr am Hauptbahnhof Winterthur an die grosse, vielfältige "Gisi bleibt! Kein Profit mit Wohnraum"-Demo zu kommen. Bringt Eure Freund:innen, Nachbar:innen, Arbeitskolleg:innen mit. Denn: Nur eine kleine Minderheit profitiert von der Wohnungsnot. Wir sind mehr! 

Leisten wir alle zusammen Widerstand gegen Vertreibung und Räumungen in allen Formen und Facetten, so vielseitig wie all die Menschen, die die Gisi in den letzten 28 Jahren bewohnt, belebt und besucht haben!

Gisi stays! No Profit with housing!

As some of you might have heard already, the Stefanini foundation for art, culture and history (SKKG) wants to evict Gisi (General-Guisan-Str. 31, Winterthur), the probably oldest squat in Switzerland in February 2026. 

All negotiation attempts to keep the house ours, alive and lived in uncommercially and self-organized have failed at the unwillingness of the foundation.

Especially SKKG, that preaches art, culture and history, wants to destroy exactly this.

Because in the past 28 years, numerous artists have given Gisi artistic diversity by organizing different workshops, concerts and events. 

Over the decades many people have always lived at Gisi, permanently and temporarily. Gisi means affordable housing for many, that don’t have anything.

We created a culture with a critical activism and viewpoint on oppressive mechanisms, profit logic and societal constraints.

We’re not only writing 28 years of history but also aligning us in all leftist, emancipatory fights of the past and future

So clearly SKKG has a different agenda. They want to generate even more profit with their 2200 apartments in Switzerland. And now they want to spend 5 million francs to turn Gisi into a chic, profitable yuppie-temple.

And the city is happy about it. Because the city’s housing politics are strictly designed to benefit the interests of the rich. No matter where in Winterthur, the poor have to make room for luxury apartments and yuppie spaces.

But obviously we won’t accept their threat of destroying Gisi just like that. Let’s make it clear to SKKG and the city, that we will defend Gisi. Because destroying Gisi is an attack on all of us. Us, who have to continuously spend a bigger amount of our salary on rent. Us, who can’t find affordable housing anymore.

The destruction of squatted spaces doesn’t concern just the residents, but the entire city. Once the squats are gone, rents will be rising in the neighbourhood and displacement will hit people all around.

Our fight doesn’t end with Gisi or the other endangered houses and trailer parks. It goes beyond every single house. We fight against capitalist gentrification and the enrichment of a few that profit from people that already have less and can’t afford the continuously rising rent anymore.

Against the destruction of Gisi and to defend affordable housing everywhere we call everyone to join us at the big, diverse “Gisi bleibt”-Demo on the 20th of December at 2PM. Bring your friends, neighbors, co-workers. Because only a tiny minority profits from the housing crisis. We are more!

Let’s show resistance against displacement and eviction in all it’s facets and forms, just as diverse as all the people that have lived at, visited and made Gisi alive in the past 28 years.

Gisi reste! Pas de profit avec le logement!

Peut-être vous l'avez déjà remarqué, mais la Fondation Stefanini pour l'art, la culture et l'histoire (SKKG) souhaite faire évacuer Gisi (General-Guisan-Str. 31, Winterthur) en février 2026. C'est probablement un des plus vieux squats en Suisse.

On a essayé de negocier pour que la maison reste autogérée, non commerciale et vivant. Mais la foundation a refusé tout les propositions.

C'est la fondation SKKG, qui se consacre à l'art, à la culture et à l'histoire, qui veut détruire exactement ça:

Au cours des 28 dernières années, plein des artiste.s ont animé.e.s la gisi avec diverses concerts, ateliers et événements.

Au fil des décennies, de nombreuses personnes ont également vécu à Gisi ou y ont trouvé un hébergement temporaire. La Gisi offre un espace de vie collectif abordable à beaucoup de gens qui ont peu de moyens.

Une culture collective s'est développée qui lutte contre les mécanismes oppressifs, la logique du profit et les contraintes sociales.

Avec tout ça on ecrit pas seulement 28 ans d'histoire, mais nous nous inscrivons dans toutes les luttes émancipatrices du passé et de l'avenir.

C'est evident que la SKKG poursuit un autre objectif: Elle veut profiter encore plus de ses 2200 appartements répartis dans toute la Suisse. C'est pourquoi elle veut maintenant transformer la Gisi pour 5 millions en immobilier chic et profitable pour loger des bobos.

Et la commune s'en réjouit : la politique municipale du logement est exclusivement axée sur les intérêts des riches, et la folie de la valorisation règne. Que ce soit à Töss, Hegi ou Schützenweiher, partout les pauvres doivent céder la place aux bobos et leurs appartements, cafés et parcs de luxe, bien sécurisées et propres.

Mais nous ne subissons pas ce menace d'expulsion de la Gisi. Montrons clairement à la SKKG et à la ville que la Gisi sera défendu. La évacuer, c'est attaquer nous touxt.e.s. Nous qui devons consacrer une toujours plus importante partie de nos salaires au loyer. Nous qui ne trouvons plus d'appartements abordables.

La destruction d'espaces occupés ne touche pas seulement leurs habitant.e.s, mais toute la ville. Une fois les maisons autogérées disparaissent, les loyers augmentent dans les environs et l'expulsion menace les voisin.e.s.

Notre combat ne s'arrête pas à la Gisi ou aux autres maisons et wagenplatz menacés d'expulsion. Il dépasse le cadre de chaque maison individuelle. Nous luttons contre la gentrification capitaliste, contre l'enrichissement sans scrupules d'une minorité au détriment de ceux qui ont déjà peu et ne peuvent pas se permettre des loyers toujours plus élevés.

Contre l'expulsion de la Gisi et pour le maintien de logements abordables partout, nous vous appelons touxt.e.s à venir samedi 20 décembre 2025 à ... à la grande manifestation diversifiée « Gisi bleibt ! Kein Profit mit Wohnraum » (Gisi reste ! Pas de profit avec le logement). Venez avec vos ami.e.s, vos voisin.e.s, vos collègue.s. Car seule une petite minorité profite de la pénurie de logements. Nous sommes plus nombreux !

Résistons touxt.e.s ensemble aux expulsions sous toutes leurs formes et facettes, aussi variées que toutes les personnes qui ont habité, animé et visité la Gisi au cours des 28 dernières années !

Gisi resta! No al profitto sugli alloggi!

Come forse già saprete, la Fondazione Stefanini per l'arte, la cultura e la storia SKKG intende sgomberare nel febbraio 2026 la Gisi (General-Guisan-Str. 31, Winterthur), probabilmente la più antica casa occupata e centro culturale della Svizzera.

Tutti i tentativi di negoziazione per continuare ad abitare e animare l'edificio in modo permanente, in modo autogestito e non commerciale, sono falliti a causa della riluttanza della fondazione.

Proprio la SKKG, che si batte per l'arte, la cultura e la storia, vuole distruggere proprio questo:

negli ultimi 28 anni, infatti, innumerevoli artisti hanno garantito una grande varietà artistica alla Gisi con concerti, workshop ed eventi.

Nel corso dei decenni, moltissime persone hanno vissuto alla Gisi o hanno potuto trovare un alloggio temporaneo. La Gisi è sinonimo di alloggi collettivi a prezzi accessibili per molti che hanno poco.

È nata una cultura critica nei confronti dei meccanismi oppressivi, della logica del profitto e delle costrizioni sociali.

In questo modo non solo scriviamo 28 anni di storia, ma ci uniamo a tutte le lotte di sinistra ed emancipatorie del passato e del futuro.

Evidentemente la SKKG persegue un altro obiettivo. Vuole ricavare ancora più profitto dai suoi 2200 appartamenti in tutta la Svizzera. Per questo ora vuole trasformare anche la Gisi in un tempio yuppie elegante e redditizio per 5 milioni di franchi.

E la città ne è felice: perché la politica abitativa comunale è orientata esclusivamente agli interessi dei ricchi, regna la mania della rivalutazione. Che sia a Töss, Hegi o allo Schützenweiher, ovunque i poveri devono lasciare il posto (ad appartamenti di lusso e spazi liberi per yuppie).

Ma non accetteremo semplicemente lo sgombero minacciato della Gisi. Facciamo capire chiaramente alla SKKG e alla città che difenderemo la Gisi. Perché sgomberare la Gisi è un attacco a tutti noi. A noi che dobbiamo spendere una parte sempre maggiore del nostro stipendio per l'affitto. A noi che non riusciamo più a trovare appartamenti a prezzi accessibili.

La distruzione degli spazi abitativi e culturali occupati non riguarda solo i residenti, ma l'intera città. Una volta che le case autogestite saranno scomparse, gli affitti aumenteranno e lo sfratto colpirà i prossimi.

La nostra lotta non finisce con la Gisi o con gli altri edifici e aree occupate minacciati di sgombero. Va oltre ogni singolo edificio. Lottiamo contro la rivalutazione capitalistica della città, contro l'arricchimento senza scrupoli di pochi a spese di coloro che hanno già poco e non possono permettersi affitti sempre più alti.

Kein Profit mit Wohnraum” (Gisi resta! Nessun profitto con gli alloggi). Portate i vostri amici, vicini e colleghi di lavoro. Perché solo una piccola minoranza trae profitto dalla carenza di alloggi. Noi siamo di più!

Opponiamoci tutti insieme agli sfratti e agli sgomberi in tutte le loro forme e sfaccettature, così diverse come tutte le persone che hanno abitato, animato e visitato la Gisi negli ultimi 28 anni!
