In times of climate catastrophe, a group of environmental activists decides to blow up an oil pipeline in West Texas, USA – a decision that quickly confronts them with a number of moral, political and mental challenges. The film is based on the book of the same name by theorist Andreas Malm (ed. Verso, 2021) which looks back at the history of social movements advocating the practice of sabotage in the direction of environmental justice.
