Permanence du Fuz

Short url:

https://squ.at/r/9mlh

The Fuz is a place where people cultivating the hacker spirit meet. People seeking to understand, master and eventually divert artifacts from the technical world.

Open to all, from all walks of life (artists, scientists, intellectuals, handymen, cinema...), the Fuz is a place of meeting and sharing, abolishing the boundaries between disciplines and levels of expertise.

A space for discussion and experimentation, the transmission of knowledge, collaboration and critical reflection are encouraged. It is part of the dual tradition of the hacker community and independent intermediary places.

Being able to go from imagination to the realization of a project without having to search or change location for each step is one of the possibilities of the Fuz. However, no need to have a project to get there, the Fuz is above all a space for meeting and mutual aid around science and technology.

And as creating is sometimes giving new life, it is common to divert objects in order to expand or redefine their original uses or simply extend their lifespan.

With the know-how of its members, their motivation, and its anchorage in the east of Paris, the Fuz is a social node bringing together curious and passionate people driven by the desire to preserve and create freedom in the field of science and technology. And by extension any societal subject that can be subject to forms of deleterious control.

In all these respects, the Fuz is defined as a hackerspace: a crossroads of hacker cultures where one can progress socially, culturally and intellectually.
