Kortxoenea gaztetxe (16 Indianoene Street) was occupied on 22 June 2010 by a group of young people from Gros. This building, located at the foot of Mount Ulia, was a cork and sheet metal factory for years, until it was bought by Zurriola Ikastola in 1983. In the following years, the school provided various uses for the site, but it was dominated by a theater school, with a total of more than 800 plays. Later, due to work to expand the ikastola, the ikastola sold the plot and it was empty for years.
During this time various fires left the ground floor shrunk, until in 2010 some young people from Gros occupied and began renovation work. The gaztetxe has set up different areas for young people, a library, a free shop, a wifi area, a workshop, local rehearsals and a soundproofed recording room, a kitchen, an orchard, a chicken coop.  Along with this, they launched a number of projects, including a street music exchange, a verse school, an open music group and a workshop to learn how to fix bicycles. In addition the site is used for rehearsals by different theater groups.
The owner of the building began work in September 2015 to demolish the building to carry out the housing project. The mobilizations that took place in the following days and weeks were carried out against it, and after some incidents, the demolition was halted. On November 3, demolition workers forcibly entered, forcibly evicted people gathered there and began demolishing the building.
