BUT Film Festival is an annual event in Breda for B-movie, Underground and Trash films. They also have an archive full of B-movies and Cult films waiting to be seen on a big screen again. And for that, BUT is coming to Amsterdam! Filmhuis Cavia still has analogue projectors for screening 8-, 16- and 35mm film. So why let them gather dust when you can use them to screen these wonderful films? That's why BUT is coming to Amsterdam at regular intervals to show these b-movies and cult films in the old-fashioned way. Enjoy this somewhat underrated analogue film. From the beautiful Breda, the films are brought to Amsterdam to be shown to the general public once again on the big screen at Cavia.

For this first BUT @ CAVIA we will be showing the action flick Sevano's Seven from 1979 on 16mm film. A government agent uncovers a sinister plot by a cartel of seven mobsters. They want to take over the state of Hawaii. The cop has an unusual method to stop these ruthless gangsters: he hires seven hitmen.
