Self-organized structure of solidarity and collection-offer of essentials "The cupboard"

For about two years, in order to meet our basic needs and cultivate solidarity in our neighborhood, we have carried out actions for the collection of essentials and food, offering them to those in need. This was what prompted us to create a more stable basis for the collection-offer of essentials in "PIKPA" squat, where the assembly is housed. In addition to actions and events for the collection and supply of essentials and food, in central locations in our neighborhoods, "PIKPA" squat will be open every Monday and Thursday, 19:00 - 21:00. So whoever wants can offer or get what he/she needs.

Our main goal is to gradually create a solidarity and empowerment structure in the neighborhood, to get to know each other, communicate and exchange views and thoughts. Let us all understand that getting into our problem, being isolated and recognizing our neighbor as the only enemy, is not the solution. Our real enemy is the state and the capital that lead us to financial, personal and social impoverishment and we will not play by their rules.

We dream and struggle for a society that everyone will get what he/she needs and give what he/she can. No one should be left alone. We owe to ourselves and to the next generations to claim our lives back. We must fight and resist, through processes of collectivization and self-organization, for a society of equity and solidarity.
