Join us for the 5th Wereldhuis VOKU (solidarity meal) of the season on Sunday 12th of December. From 14:00 – 17:00 we serve meals at De Volkskamer where you can dine or pick up for takeaway.

We will be cooking some soup with hearty herbs and then comes the pizza! We have also been taking part in a storytelling workshop and hope to share some stories with you too! 

Come and eat in solidarity and taste the fruits of a collaboration where people in refugee situations combine cooking and cultivation to nourish new communities and sow economic solidarities near and far.

This VOKU centres on the Wereldhuis community food project that connects city with campo. The Volkskeuken (the people’s kitchen) cooperates with Boerderij De Meent (the commons farm) where participants design and grow their own herb garden and cook their own solidarity meals, celebrating their food cultures.
