TM [AUS]
Sometimes sparse, sometimes pummelling, TM formed in late 2019 in Brisbane on the east coast of Australia. They are a duo exploring the potential bounds of raw guitar and percussion through improvisation. Their output exists somewhere adjacent to the realms of jazz and noise, and they bounce off, play through and support each other to create tense narratives. Timothy Green (of Jive Canyon & Raum) plays long-form continuous drum-kit and percussion; Thomas Lipman (of Pious Faults) plays relentless disjunct guitar. After only a short while of playing as a duo, they have decided to see what they can offer Europe, and vice versa. TM will play in ten countries throughout February and March. They will carry with them a fresh tape containing thirty minutes of hi-fidelity recorded material, released especially for this European tour.

Z-tta1 [AMS]
Z-tta1 is een fusionband opgericht in 2019 vanuit de Amsterdamse Vondelbunker.​ Vanaf het eerste moment is de inzet om te mengen tussen verschillende ideeën, karakters en stijlen.​ Zo verbindt de band zich aan acts als het Hiromi Uehara Trio en Gogo Penguin maar vinden de composities hun oorsprong in oa animé, games en eigen levensgebeurtenissen. ​
Met achtergronden vanuit rock, pop en jazz-fusion navigeren de drie in een half elektrische sound tussen langer geschreven delen en solo’s waarin dat weer wordt losgelaten.​
Waar genoeg muziek een duidelijke stem bovenop verkiest zijn hier de belangrijkste bouwstenen akkoorden en ritmische accenten. Het verhaal van Z-tta1 is daarmee meer democratisch en minder makkelijk te plaatsen.
