18h Veranstaltung zur aktuellen Revolte in Chile mit kurzem Input über den HIntergrund / Informationevent about the ongoing revolt in CHile
*****in the 18th of october the revolt began with protests against the increasing prices for the public transport. this was only the spark who set the fire. in the next days people in the whole chilean region start to revolt against the state. the diverse protest includes a lot of different topics, its a feminist struggle, a fight for human rights and better live circumstances, a environmental protest and a fight for indigenious rights against privatisation and opression of the state, to name just a few. with a short insight by reports and clips we want to show a little bit of chilean reality. afterwards there is space for discussions. the input will be in spanish and english with an option of german translation.
****am 18. oktober began die revolte in der region chile mit protesten gegen die steigenden preise für den öffentlichen personen nahverkehr. das war der funke der das feuer entzündet hat. in den nächsten tagen begannen in der ganzen region menschen gegen den staat zu revoltieren. der protest ist sehr divers und beinhaltet viele schwerpunkte, es ist ein feministischer kampf, ein kampf für menschenrechte und bessere lebensumstände, umweltprotest und kampf für die rechte der indigenen, gegen privatisierung und den staat. um hier nur ein paar themen zu nennen. wir wollen anhand von berichten und clips einen kleinen einblick in die chilenische realität geben. der input wird auf englisch und spanisch sein. bei bedarf gibt es eine deutsche übersetzung.
