To compensate for tedious work and wasted time, people continue to purchase pointless and worthless stuff which despite the hope doesn't make them happy. In the mean time there is a growing mountain of waste, and the air and water are poluted. In addition to this most consumer goods are made in poor countries, where people must work for poverty wages and can hardly afford to eat. Time for a better solution.
