The criticisms on technologies, and their impact on our daily lifes, how their development obstruct badly our freedom, is nowadays an old refrain, however it is essential to keep it in mind every time a new gadget goes out in the market, or a new law that enables more control thanks to technologies is promulgated. Nevertheless, its interesting to see that Science Fiction didn't wait for the Internet Era,  Smartphones and the permanent connexion to criticize the technological progress and the social oppression/repression that comes with it. The first dystopic novel was written in 1920, and presented a fierce criticism on mathematical, rationalist and machinist totalitarism. We can consider the author of this novel, Yevgeny Zamyatin, as an heretic in front of the bolchevic regime, daring to paint a picture of the horror of the collectivist tyranny, and wich literary work got censured for that reason. The cinema has then integrated the toppic of dystopia, sometimes based on novels, sometimes on original scripts. It goes without saying that showing this movies doesn't mean that we support everything in it, nor the actors or directors, but that we think it opens some interesting doorways for further thoughts. The program of the movies in January :
