Kasa Invisível is a house squatted by an autonomous and horizontal anticapitalist collective, since 22 march 2013, located in the downtown of Belo Horizonte – MG / Brazil.

For a decade, people and groups from Brazil and the world have been visiting Kasa Invisível, holding debates, workshops, movie screenings, concerts, courses, bookfairs and festivals. In addition to hosting events and meetings for unions and social movement groups, Kasa functions daily as a community kitchen, library, infoshop, screen printing workshop and vegan food cooperative.

During the pandemic and the period of social isolation, the Kasa collective started to organize regular mutual aid actions to support homeless people and workers in the neighborhood against the effects of covid-19. Gathering and donating food, clothing, blankets and hygiene kits, direct action and mutual support became even more common in the day-to-day occupation.

In 2024 and 2025, members of the collective toured in Europe and in South America publishing the book “Casa Encantada: A Portrait of the Fight for Housing in Belo Horizonte"

It is crucial to hold a space like this in the center of one of the largest Brazilian cities during this age of crisis and new waves of right-wing movementes emerging.. There are few occupations like this in the country and none with the same structure and proposal to propagate radical and anti-authoritarian policies, all without parties or state institutions in the city. If the project consolidates, it can be the catalyst of radical struggle and experiences in the city and the region, serving as a meeting point, confabulation and information spread. In addition to being inspiration and reference to other occupations in the future. Solidarity, mutual support, exchange of experience or any financial and legal support are therefore fundamental at the outset.
