Schwarze Raupe - Infoladen Graz

Schwarze Raupe - Infoladen Graz

Short url:

The “Schwarze Raupe” is a space to discuss, but also to read, learn or just hang out. There is no compulsion to consume. But if you are thirsty, we have cold drinks and coffee from the Zapatistas. Sometimes there will definitely be snacks as well. Unfortunately, the space is not barrier-free, so we will find individual solutions together.

Part of the “Schwarze Raupe” is the Infoshop Graz. This offers the possibility to read old and new things from the world. From topics like anarchism, feminism, anti-racism and IT-security to news from other infoshops and the archive about leftist struggles in Graz and the world. You can browse and read at your leisure, or use the space for joint discussions.

There will also be regular events at the “Schwarze Raupe”. We organize lectures, workshops and film evenings or make the room available. We will write letters together to prisoners around the world and cook and eat together from time to time. There will also be skill-sharing evenings.

We understand the “Schwarze Raupe” as a radical left space. So a space for common politicization and organizing. A space where topics like feminism, anti-racism, anti-fascism and anarchism are in focus. If you need help with bureaucratic problems (e.g. asylum decisions, criminal charges), we can either support you or refer you to the right places. In any case, you are not alone!

There is no place for sexist, racist, homophobic, biophobic, transphobic or other discriminatory or oppressive behavior in the “Schwarze Raupe”. We stand in solidarity with people affected by violence and take a clear stand against people who use violence. This means that for us the needs of those affected are central and we take collective responsibility.
