Viale Corsica 81 is a space occupied for residential and social use within which political initiatives, events, concerts, book presentations, artistic workshops and screen printing take place. It is a political community that actively participates in the struggles that take place in the city, and is inserted in a network of solidarity and struggle with other spaces and collectives of the city. The inhabitants and those who are part of the community organize themselves in self-management, collectively, mainly through the assembly tool, both as regards the management of the social space and for the organization of the daily life of the occupants. Corsica is in fact a community of struggle and a housing commune. We believe that living different forms of life is the first way to actualize, here and now, a resistance to the isolation, oppression and exploitation that capitalism imposes on us. We do not distinguish between personal and political as we try to act coherently with our ideas and to fight even through small gestures against gender, race and class discrimination, against any kind of fascism and authority, to sabotage the mechanisms of domination.
