Games are an old and well-known cultural form. They bring people together, mediate, carry out social interactions in various forms in a (mostly) peaceful way. They are a reference point for social interaction and can take many forms, from competitive to cooperative, from board and cards to moving around in public spaces. The 4lthangrund game afternoons are about communicating the cooperative and solidarity world of games. There is a collection of cooperative games in which goals are realized together. These are games like the game of Zapatistas where it is about achieving different goals for good community cooperation. Or Spirit Island, a game about collectively resisting imperialist invaders and defending the common society.

During the game afternoons, different games are played and the participants are encouraged to become creative themselves, to develop games and to adopt playful approaches to social interaction.
