Here at Abundant Earth near Broompark, Durham we are having an Open Day on Saturday September 5th from 11am til 4pm. On this occasion there will be a tour of our veg garden focusing on seeds, willow basket making demonstration by Jo, a biochar making demonstration from Mark Shiperlee, and Beth will be selling and serving up herb teas, fresh bread rolls, homemade veg soup, salad, cake, craft items and our hens eggs. You are welcome for the whole day or just pop in as you can.

Directions:
Our smallholding is called Cooke's West Wood Farm and can be found at Broompark, 2 miles west and south a bit of Durham City. It is south of Broompark, west of Broompark Picnic Area and north of the Deerness River. These directions are from Durham City,
