We invite you to join the first gathering of a new season of dismantle. We are a group which explores how patriarchy has shaped our lives, behaviours, and relationships together with the explicit goal to dismantle patriarchal behavior in our personalities and environments.

We aim to explore this with those who have been socialized as males, and who are willing to reflect on, as well as dismantle the behaviors that are rooted in patriarchy. This requires co-creating a supportive and regenerative space and community in which such sensitive and confrontational self-development work can be performed together. We create visions of positive masculinities positive personhood for ourselves, our friends, our partners, our comrades and the movements we are involved in.

On Monday the 7th of September from 19:00 untill 21:00, we continue with a gathering at Snackbar Frieda. This first gathering of the new season offers an opportunity to (re)connect with your anti-patriachal intentions and expectations. Together we reflect on the possible ways of organizing and brainstorm new themes for upcoming sessions. It is a good time to introduce new people to the group so feel free to forward this message to those who you believe will be interested to join our project!

Naturally, as we are interested in dismantling the power structures of patriarchy together, dismantle will always be rooted in horizontalist approaches on organization and thus there can be no space for any form of discriminatory or authoritarian behavior.
